While Kanye West continues to make his bid for the 2020 Presidential Election stationed in Wyoming, his wife, Kim Kardashian, has returned to Los Angeles with their four children.
The couple recently took a family vacation with their kids in the Dominic Republic, following an emotional reunion stemming from a series of episodes where West revealed private information on his Twitter account.
When the family came back to the states, Kardashian and three of their children (Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and 15-month Psalm) flew back to L.A., a source told PEOPLE, while North, 7, stayed in Wyoming to spend time with her dad before handing back home to her mom and siblings.
On Monday night (Aug 17), West tweeted a picture of himself and North standing in front of a body of water, with mountains behind them.
“Daddy-daughter time,” the rapper wrote.
The source also said that Wyoming “is where [Kanye] wants to live.” But when it comes to Kim, she is “happy to be back” home in L.A. “It’s hard traveling with the kids for such a long time.”
“Kim still seems focused on making her marriage work,” the source continued. “She is pretty quiet about her exact plans for the future, but for now, she seems okay with Kanye living in Wyoming. He is moving ahead with the presidential campaign. This is a decision that no one can change his mind about.”
Although reports said that Kardashian had been moving towards ending her relationship with West before their conversation in July, the reality star “wants to do everything she can to save her marriage,” a source revealed at the time.
Another source said that earlier this month, the pair was in a much better place following their family trip to the D.R.
“They had a good family week in the Dominican Republic. They are continuing the family vacation,” the source said on Aug. 9. “Kim and Kanye are getting along. They both seem much happier.”
