Kim Kardashian says she’s not sure if the West-Kardashian family will be invited back to SNL following Kanye West’s controversial pro-Donald Trump rant.
On Sunday’s episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the production company took fans behind-the-scenes of West’s unexpected speech, where he praised Trump after his musical performance on Saturday Night Live back in September. West also announced that he and the Kardashian clan would be moving to Chicago for good.
In the episode Kim revealed she was “a little bit annoyed” that she found out about the move at the same time as everyone else. “We moving to Chicago,” he told her. “That’s the vibe, babe. It feels good.”
“I get that Kanye is really excited about Chicago,” the 41-year-old reality star said. “He just needs a change of scene. I totally respect that, but I can’t really imagine moving to Chicago. I think I’m going to kind of ride it out and see it through, because with him I just always want to make sure that this is what he wants to do. Then we make a real, informed decision.” While Kim says she was thrown off by Kanye’s actions, she wouldn’t change who he is. “I know that Kanye is always going to be Kanye and I’m never trying to change that,” she added. “I mean, that’s who I fell in love with and I’m not trying to change who is,” Kim said.
The episode then showed the family, without Kanye, discussing how much fun Kim’s children had at SNL. “North, you can host next time,” #KrisJenner said. “I don’t know if they’ll invite us back ever,” Kim replied with a laugh. “Did he do a rant at the end?” Kris asked. “At the end, yes, but the credits were rolling,” Kim said. “I can’t control it.” In the end, Kim said she’s at her end when it comes to giving more love than she can. Kris, 63, advised her daughter to give West “a little more attention” in order to “keep him calm.” “I have a million kids. I have a million jobs,” Kim said, sounding exasperated. “This is all I’ve got.” “I think he just is expecting a lot more than you’re giving,” Kris said. “I don’t have any much more to give,” Kim said.
In conclusion, Kim and Kanye decided the move to Chicago would not be in the family’s best interest as their children #NorthWest, #SaintWest and #ChicagoWest are in permanent schools. “The kids are in school and we have another baby on the way, so moving to Chicago would have to be a long conversation. And honestly, it might be my breaking point,” the socialite said.
