Kim Kardashian is preparing to help put away the people responsible for her terrifying Paris robbery.
The reality star will take the stand in the upcoming trial of an underground Parisian gang accused of orchestrating the infamous 2016 heist that left her bound and gagged at gunpoint. TMZ reported that Kardashian will appear in court this May to testify before a jury.
“Kim will go to the robbery trial in France in May when she will testify on the stand at the jury trial,” sources with direct knowledge told the outlet.
The Skims creator was the target of a harrowing jewelry heist while staying in Paris for Fashion Week, where armed robbers stormed her rented apartment, holding her hostage and making off with $10 million in jewelry, including a massive $4 million ring.
French authorities spent five years investigating before officially bringing the case to trial in 2021. Now, nearly a decade later, the proceedings are finally set to begin.
Kim has previously provided a detailed account to the judge, but this will be her first chance to recount the terrifying ordeal directly to a jury. Twelve suspects are expected to stand trial.
