In Vogue Hong Kong’s 2022 April issue, Kim Kardashian opened up about her aspirations. And her aspirations include opening a “successful” law firm. She says, “I dream of one day creating a successful law firm.”
Kardashian admitted that she’s “never worked so hard” like she did when passing the baby bar in December 2021. The process was documented in the last season of Keeping of the Kardashians, but she failed three times. However, she did have COVID during one of the times. She finally passed the baby bar and announced it on Instagram in December 2021.
She tells Vogue Hong Kong, “I had to be really diligent about studying and dedicated every spare minute I had to it. I’m very passionate about criminal justice reform, and I want to advocate for those who I feel they were wrongfully convicted.”
Kardashian got her keen interest in criminal justice because of her late father, Robert Kardashian. Robert Kardashian was famously known for defending O.J. Simpson as his attorney in the 1995 murder trial.
The Skims founder said that her father inspired her to become an attorney. She says, “Spending time with my father at his office definitely influenced me. Doing this work has been in my soul for years, and I’m so proud that I’m now doing this work.”
It looks like she has always been interested in legal work. “When I look back at old interviews when people asked what I wanted to do if I wasn’t filming ‘KUWTK,’ I always said I wanted to be a crime scene investigator or an attorney. Being in this line of work has definitely made me feel closer to my dad, and to know that I’m helping people feels really good at the end of the day.”
Since her passion for criminal justice, she has helped Alice Marie Johnson out of jail by visiting former President Donald Trump to plead her case. Trump granted the 63-year-old clemency.
