Kim Zolciak-Biermann is shedding light on the ongoing drama surrounding her divorce from estranged husband Kroy Biermann, blaming him for their escalating issues and calling the last few years “torture.”
Speaking to TMZ, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star alleged that Kroy has been the root of the couple’s troubles. “There’s a track record of Kroy being the problem,” Kim claimed. She added, “Nobody has any idea what I’ve dealt with the last two and a half, three years of my life,” seemingly referring to their repeated breakups. “I’m trying to take the high road.”
When asked about Kroy’s alleged behavior, Kim called him “controlling” and noted that his actions have brought unnecessary “control and chaos” into their lives. She also revealed that the pair are still living under the same roof despite their split. The situation, worsened by frequent police visits over domestic disputes, has been “awful” and “terrible,” Kim admitted.
Most recently, police responded to a call at their shared Atlanta home regarding a parking dispute, following a previous incident one day before Thanksgiving when the couple accused each other of domestic violence. Neither was arrested due to contradicting stories. Earlier this year, Kim also called 911, alleging Kroy had violated a court order requiring them to stay on separate sides of the house.
While Kim isn’t holding out hope for reconciliation, saying, “He has changed, and it didn’t work. Not for the good,” she remains open to the idea of finding love again. “It’s gonna take me a long time to heal from the trauma that I’ve experienced,” she shared.
Kim and Kroy, who met in 2010 during a RHOA-filmed event, filed for divorce in May 2023 after 12 years of marriage. They briefly reconciled in July before Kroy refiled a month later. The couple shares four children together—KJ, Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane—while Kroy also adopted Kim’s two older daughters, Brielle and Ariana.
