Brielle Biermann, eldest daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, recently hosted a segment of Hollyscoop, where she discussed her experiences with getting bullied online.

“Reading people’s comments about you is just horrible because they don’t know you as a person and they come at you and affect your character,” said Brielle. “With me, I’ve been on TV for 10 years and you only see 30 minutes of my life once a week, you don’t know me as a person so you don’t how this is going to affect me and if it is going to affect me, which it does. Cause everyday you guys come up with something new to say about me, it just gets old and it’s disrespectful.”

For Brielle, she says that she utilizes the block button a lot on social media to get rid of trolls. “I think that my most used button on social media is the block button. I mean I probably have thousands of people that I block; I probably would have a million followers by now if I didn’t block them all the time.”

As far as advice she has for those being bullied, Brielle says, “If you’re being bullied, what I would do or my best advice is to just ignore it. It doesn’t define you it defines them. At the end of the day, you and your family and your friends know who you are and that’s all that really matters. These people that are saying these horrible things don’t know you or respect you, so it doesn’t their opinion. Everybody’s going to have opinion and it doesn’t matter quite frankly if they like you or love your clothes or think that your lips are too big or whatever. It’s your life and whatever makes you happy then let it be.”
