BET’s “Sistas” Stars KJ Smith and Skyh Black Share Highlights of Growing in the Industry Together, Favorite Soul Train Memories, Plus Clears Up Rumors About Their Relationship Being Fake

KJ Smith and Skyh Black are the new power couple on the block. They are both known for their roles on Tyler Perry’s hit series “Sistas.” The two had been sharing spicy comments under each other’s pictures early this year and recently went public with their relationship status.

In an exclusive interview with Baller Alert, the couple shared the highlights of growing in the industry together, favorite memories of Soul Train and cleared any rumors about their relationship being fake.

The couple has been growing in the industry together, both taking on new roles in TV Shows. Black is one of the main characters on BET + All The Queens Men, and KJ Smith is set to join the prequel series, ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ in a recurring role.

“It feels great to have a partner on the journey,” said Black. “Someone who knows what it is and truly has your back. That’s hard to find,” he said. KJ followed and said she felt the same way. “We go through so much in this industry, and exciting to win with someone who you truly love,” she said. “This is my favorite part of the journey.”

It’s been rumored that the couple’s relationship is fake, but they’re here to set the rumors straight. “This relationship is real. We kept this a secret for a while,” said Black.

The beautiful couple looked terrific in their coordinated black and silver outfits, gazing at each other as the other spoke. KJ Smith told Baller Alert her favorite thing about Soul Train is the Soul Train line. “I like to dance — he’s actually the dancer, but I like to joke and say I’m the dancer in the relationship,” she said.
