The Ku Klux Klan has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters so it’s no shock that they would be celebrating his presidential win. On Wednesday morning, hours after Trump’s win, an image of people marching on a bridge in North Carolina went viral. The image was believed to be the KKK. It turned out that image was a fake and the people on the bridge were not the Klan. However, it’s been confirmed that a KKK rally is indeed in the works.
The Loyal White Knights of Pelham, N.C., one of the biggest KKK groups in the country, has announced that they have planned a Donald Trump victory parade. Their website shows that the rally, which they’re calling the “Klavalkade Klan Parade,” is slated for December 3. They have not yet announced a time or location for the meet up.
The group has between 150 and 200 members and is considered by the Anti-Defamation League to be the most active Klan group in the United States today.
