Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson has proven his worth through his skills on the court since his debut season with the NBA team. Prior to joining the Mavericks, Thompson shined alongside Steph Curry on the Golden State Warriors and earned the title of a four-time NBA champion.

Despite Thompson’s major accomplishments, he still has to face hecklers who don’t mind verbally sharing their opinions about the NBA star and his basketball skills.
While signing autographs for fans outside of a Portland hotel, Thompson took a moment to confront an individual in the crowd who felt a way about his presence. In the video clip, Thompson is seen interacting with fans as one person outside of the video frame yells out mean remarks about the Mavericks guard. As a result, Thompson didn’t think twice about responding to the heckler.
“But you are over there watching, you bum. What are you talking about? Go deliver the package, go do your job, why are you standing there? Go do your job, you f**king weirdo,” Thompson yelled.
Nonetheless, as the Mavericks chase postseason success, Thompson is continuing to ride the wave of his recent achievement, becoming the fifth all-time three-point shooter. Thompson says he has plans to honor Reggie Miller by inscribing a game jersey and having it sent to him.
“I’m going to keep the (game) ball and send the (game) jersey to Reggie and inscribe it because he meant that much to me,” Thompson said in a statement. “I remember his battles with Mike and Kobe, taking a small-market team like the Pacers all the way to the NBA Finals and being in the East finals routinely and just being the standard for what a shooting guard should look like.”
