Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Marie, also known as Gigi, have reportedly died in a helicopter crash today in Calabasas, confirmed by TMZ Sports.
Kobe and Gianna were on their way to the Mamba Academy in nearby Thousand Oaks for basketball practice with two other people in his private helicopter when a fire broke out, and the craft went down. Emergency personnel responded, however, there were no survivors. All five occupants of the aircraft are confirmed dead. Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board. Sources also confirmed that Rick Fox was also not on board.
