Two game-used Kobe Bryant and LeBron James jerseys are being auctioned off and going for over $100k a piece.
According to TMZ, a rare white-colored Kobe Bryant jersey that he wore back in 2013 is up for grabs. The jersey comes with “Los Lakers” stitched on the front to signify the Latin-themed night. There’s a few significant patches on the jersey as well. One “JB” patch to honor Jerry Buss and a “Noche Latina” emblem on the chest. It also features an autograph from Kobe himself signed inside of the number 2 on the backside.
Even though LeBron’s jersey doesn’t come with his signature attached, it is unique because James wore the exact jersey numerous times while playing for the Lakers. According to Goldin, the auctioneers, LeBron wore the jersey for 6 games during the 2018-2019 season. LeBron racked up 3 triple-doubles and a 36 point game while wearing the jersey.
Kobe’s jersey will go for about $125k in the auction while LeBron’s totaling $150k.
