Kodak Black has been arrested and booked on drug charges.
On Friday, Kodak was pulled over in Ft. Lauderdale for having an illegal tint on his Dodge Durango. Officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which prompted a search.
The officers claim they found 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash inside the truck. Kodak was then arrested and taken into custody. He was booked on two charges, possession of a controlled substance without prescription and trafficking in oxycodone.
Kodak’s lawyer later told TMZ, “Never judge a case based on an arrest. There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000, and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly.”
Hopefully, Kodak can beat the charges and get back to his music.
