Kodak Black has been transferred out of the Kentucky prison where he claimed he was being tortured.
According to TMZ, Kodak was recently transferred to USP Thomson, a high-security prison in Illinois, where KB’s lawyer Bradford Cohen says the guards are treating him better than they did in Kentucky.
The transfer comes after the rapper’s lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons for alleged torture. Kodak claimed his life was a living hell at Big Sandy maximum security prison.
The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, claimed he spoke with Black on Wednesday and that said he is in a better situation than before, but that it’s still not ideal for him. The 23-year-old is now 1,500 miles away from his family in Florida, which will make it harder for them to visit if they are allowed the opportunity.
