In what seems to be a whirlwind of drama, Kodak Black finds himself in the middle of a hefty legal battle.  The rapper is facing a lawsuit from a Tri-State area limousine company, I&D Concierge, based out of Queens, NY, which claims he owes them more than $600,000.

The company alleges that between September 2018 and December 2023, Kodak was racking up bills of $150,000 to $200,000 monthly for their transportation services.  The total amount on the invoice?  A cool $618,070.11, according to court documents HipHopDX got a hold of.

Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s attorney, has fired back, accusing I&D of exploiting his client during a challenging period in his life.  Cohen argues that the company took advantage of Kodak, especially when he was navigating through some rough waters.

But that’s not the only controversy surrounding Kodak Black.  Earlier this year, a feud between him and fellow rapper Jackboy allegedly escalated to a violent level, leading to a fatal shooting outside a Jackboy concert in Sanford, FL, on January 16, 2023.  According to the Miami Herald, the incident, which resulted in the death of 31-year-old Princess Tolliver and left others injured by armor-piercing bullets, was sparked by a dispute between the two artists.  However, police clarified that neither Kodak Black nor Jackboy were directly involved in the shooting.

The aftermath of the tragic event saw the arrest of 13 individuals, allegedly members of the OTF gang, linked to the drive-by.  Despite the high-profile nature of the dispute, Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma emphasized that there’s no evidence implicating Kodak Black or Jackboy in the shooting, assuring that neither has been charged.

As the legal and personal battles unfold, fans and followers are left watching closely, hoping for resolutions that bring peace and justice.  Kodak Black’s situation serves as a reminder of how quickly fortunes can turn in the high-stakes world of celebrity.
