Kourtney Kardashian has announced she’s taking some personal time away from the family’s long-running reality series, ”Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, joined by Kim and Khloé, Kourtney said she wanted to spend more time and focus on her children and parenting, which ultimately means she’ll be spending less time on camera for the E! Series.
“I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there,” she said, “But I’m not saying goodbye.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The mother of three, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, co-parents with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, who is also a show regular.
“I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18,” Kourtney, 40, continued. “It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”
This break will also give the oldest sister time to continue developing her lifestyle brand Poosh. After launching early April, the website has shared information on everything from makeup tutorials to recipes, and personal recommendations from Kourtney herself.
Her sisters responded to her announcement with love and jokes, “We definitely love Kourtney, and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family,” Khloé shared. “We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week; she’ll be back.”
“They all come back,” Khloé joked.
The sisters continued laughing about what the show will be for now, “Just Kim and Khloe take—” Kim joked, as Khloé added, “Take Calabasas! It’s just Kim and I now.”
According to reports, Kourtney is obviously welcome back to the show whenever she’s ready.
“We all have our priorities,” Kourtney says, “So I’ll be making memories with my kids and amazing people while living my life to the absolute fullest.”
