Kourtney Kardashian recently revealed during a Vanity Fair Italy cover story that she and her hubby, Travis Barker, conceived their unborn baby naturally.
After previously disclosing that they were foregoing fertility treatments, the 44-year-old reality star confirmed that the news of her pregnancy came when they were “no longer” thinking about it and had “stopped fertility treatment.”
The Poosh creator said it was “God’s plan” for her and Travis.
“To those who make them, I just say: ‘How could you question God’s plan?’” she added in reference to those who questioned her naturally conceiving. “Because that’s how I see this pregnancy.”
The two started pursuing in vitro fertilization before they said “I do” in 2022, PageSix reported. During the interview with Vanity Fair, she said that they decided to stop “forcing the process.”
“I was pushed towards [IVF] as if it were the only option,” the Hulu personality explained. “The truth is, I felt like I was doing something that wasn’t right for me.”
“My intuition was telling me that it wasn’t suitable for me — I don’t even take medicine, imagine — that it was working against my body rather than for it,” she continued. “I knew deep down that it wasn’t the right thing.”
The couple announced the pregnancy at a June concert amid “many restrictions in the first months.” Apparently, the love birds were advised by doctors to refrain from sex, workouts, Pilates, caffeine, and plane trips.
