Kris Jenner takes pride in many aspects of her life, yet there is one particular moment marred by a sense of shame.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris candidly shared with her daughter Khloé Kardashian the story of her infidelity with soccer player-turned-animator Todd Waterman back in 1989. She also explained why she considers it the greatest regret of her life. This revelation unfolded during their conversation, sparked by Khloé’s discussion about her ex Tristan Thompson. Khloé asked her mother, “What was your mindset when you cheated? “When you were unfaithful to my dad, and you had four children and a family? I understand you were very young at the time…”
Kris responded by telling her daughter, “Being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.”
Despite Khloé’s inquiries, she still sought further clarification, asking her mother once more, “But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?”
The 67-year-old then responded, “I don’t know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s biggest regret.”
Nevertheless, Kris admitted that she isn’t proud of how she managed her relationship with Robert, but she holds the belief that “everything happens for a reason.”
“I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason,” she said. “I really do live my life by thinking God has a plan, and without that whole thing happening, there never would’ve been Kendall and Kylie Jenner.”
