Krispy Kreme is embracing the holiday spirit, announcing its new Let It Snow collection. The five-donut collection will see two returning favorites joined by three new ones. The new menus will be rolled out on November 26.
The new donuts are the Poppy Penguin, Snowman Smile, and Snowy Sprinkle. The Poppy Penguin is an original Krispy Kreme donut dipped in blue icing and sanding sugar. It is decorated with Kreme and a cute little fondant penguin. The Snowman Smile features an Original Glazed dipped in white icing and decorated with icing and a fondant piece to look like a snowman. And rounding out the new donuts is the Snowy Sprinkle, which is covered in blue icing and snowflake-shaped sprinkles.
The Santa Belly and chocolate iced donuts are returning fan-favorites. The Santa Belly is filled with Chocolate Kreme, dipped in red icing, and decorated like Santa’s coat. The chocolate iced donut is an Original Glazed donut topped with chocolate icing, but it will be covered in red and green sprinkles this year.
“This year, we’re tapping into the anticipating of wintry, holiday fun with our snowy holiday collection,” said Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, in a press release.
The chain also announced that Krispy Kreme will be giving away a free Original Glazed donut and a small brewed coffee on Black Friday. The offer is good both in-store and at drive-thrus.
