Krispy Kreme is encouraging people to get the COVID-19 vaccine by offering a free doughnut to anyone who can provide evidence of vaccination for the rest of 2021.
Customers must present their vaccination cards to verify that they received one or both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a press release, Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer, said, “We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as quickly as possible, and we want to help everybody doing their part to keep the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them.”
Krispy Kreme has also agreed to give free doughnuts to health care volunteers that help administer vaccinations, as well as compensated time off to encourage company staff to get vaccinated when they are qualified.
