Krispy Kreme & Dunkin’ Celebrating National Donut Day With Free Donuts

Donut and coffee lovers are in for a special treat, as both Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ are gearing up for a sweet giveaway.

Both chains, known for their donuts and morning brews, will give out free donuts and coffee on Friday, June 2nd. This special day commemorates National Donut Day, a holiday celebrating the tasty breakfast pastry. Customers who arrive at Krispy Kreme will be met with a free donut. No purchase is necessary to take advantage of this promotion. For those who order any dozen donuts, they can get another dozen of glazed donuts for just $2. This deal is right on time, as Krispy Kreme recently brought back several fan favorites. The Banana Pudding, Chocolate Kreme Pie, Key Lime Pie, and Strawberries & Kreme have returned and will be available for free as well.

For Dunkin’ customers, the free donut will arrive with any drink order. Any size coffee, no matter the flavor or type, will be eligible for the complimentary treat to go along with it. As with certain Dunkin’ promos of the past, customers do not have to use the app in order to get their freebie. They have the option to order in-store. Additionally, anyone who takes advantage of this deal will also receive a $1 off coupon for the company’s new strawberry lemonade.

National Donut Day, which was established by the Salvation Army in 1938, usually takes place on the first Friday of June. The non-profit will also be celebrating by delivering donuts to first responders in select cities.

The Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ freebies are only scheduled for this upcoming Friday, so don’t miss out on your morning commute!
