Fans will be able to quench their sweet desire with a new dessert from Krispy Kreme.
The new menu will include seven new shakes inspired by popular donut flavors, with select locations offering the original glazed donut-flavored soft-serve ice cream.
Currently, only ten markets will sell the new donut-inspired dessert.
The ice cream will contain ingredients from the original glazed doughnut, such as the signature glaze flavor and whole natural milk. The new frozen delicacy is available in cups or waffle cones and comes in three flavors: original glazed, strawberry iced sprinkled, and chocolate iced. It will also be infused with Krispy Kreme flavor from their proprietary donut mix and original glaze flavor. Customers can add a dehydrated original glazed doughnut topping to their ice cream to enhance their sweet treat.
Among the new additions of the Krispy Kreme milkshakes are seven flavors: Original glazed, strawberry iced sprinkled, chocolate iced, lemon filled, cookies & Kreme, birthday batter, and coffee & Kreme.
“The introduction of original glazed soft serve ice cream is a big day for Krispy Kreme and our fans,” Krispy Kreme’s Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said. “Our fans love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and they also love rich, creamy ice cream. We’re confident their love of ice cream and for Krispy Kreme is going to go to an entirely new level after they experience these deliciously unique shakes, cones, and cups. We’re thrilled to begin our rollout on the first day of summer.”
Fans can find the original glazed donut milkshake at participating locations like North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Texas. Krispy Kreme revealed that they would be disclosing some of the additional participating locations such as Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, and Kansas.
The new menu items are out now.
