The Chrisley Family just can’t seem to stay out of trouble, and now, the oldest, Kyle Chrisley, has been arrested in Tennessee.
On Tuesday, the 31-year-old son of Todd Chrisley and stepson of Julie Chrisley was picked up by the Smyrna Police Department. He was taken to the Rutherford County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.
According to TMZ, the arrest stemmed from an incident at his job at Penske Truck Rental. Police said he got into a physical fight with his supervisor and brandished a “fixed blade.”.
However, Kyle has not commented on his latest run-in with the law, though the timing couldn’t be worse. His highly publicized arrest arrived just two months after his famous parents began their lengthy prison sentences for fraud and tax evasion. Todd and Julie Chrisley are currently serving a 12 and seven-year federal prison sentence. Though he had no involvement with the reality star’s case, his legal troubles and mental health struggles have kept him in the news throughout the years. Kyle’s past drug use and alleged abusive past landed him in jail in 2013. In December, he shared with his Instagram followers that he attempted suicide after years of depression and a misdiagnosis of bipolar disorder. The relationship with his father and other family members has been rocky as a result.
As of now, Kyle is out on a $3,000 bond. He is due back in court on March 20th.
