Kyle From Jagged Edge Arrested For Shoving Engagement Ring Down Fiance’s Throat

I don’t think this is how love works. Kyle Norman, from famous R&B group Jagged Edge, was arrested Thursday on assault charges for beating up his fiancée and shoving a wedding ring down her throat.

The ‘Let’s Get Married” singer has a history of violence after getting in a fight with Sisqo last year. According to CBS 46 news, police were called to a home about a fight between an engaged couple. When police arrived, Kyle’s fiancée told officers that they were arguing about Kyle’s drinking.

At the time, her eyes had welts under them and she had a golf ball-sized knot on her upper left forehead — in addition to what looks like a blood clot in her right eye that had burst.  She then told police that Kyle punched and choked her with a scarf and shoved her engagement ring down her throat choking her more. After she tried to leave, Kyle reportedly took away her car keys and broke her cell phone. She ended up playing along and agreeing with what he was saying in order to grab his cell phone, run outside, and call for help. She woke up a neighbor who let her inside for protection.

An officer saw Kyle  running down the sidewalk and as he pulled up, Norman turned around and shouted, “I need to go to jail.”  He then told police he was upset about his dad having cancer and that’s the reason he got so mad at his fiancee. He was taken to jail and charged with aggravated assault.
