On Tuesday, news broke that Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend and father to her daughter Stormi, Travis Scott decided to take a break. As the days go by, details of the split are coming to light.
According to People, the two seemingly have a difference in priorities and have been dealing with the stress caused by their lifestyles.
“They still have some trust issues, but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles,” a source told People Magazine. The source also said Stormi “will spend equal time” with her parents while they live apart, but will live with Kylie.
“They are both great parents and will co-parent. They don’t want their split to affect Stormi too much,” the source continued. “As soon as they felt they couldn’t figure out their issues, they decided to separate so their disagreements won’t affect Stormi.”
E! News also reported the difference in priorities also caused a rift between the two. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sources told the outlet, “Kylie is young, but she really wants the traditional family life. She has seen her older sisters with big families and multiple kids, and she wants the same.”
“She loved being at home with Travis and their daughter Stormi Webster more than anything. But right now, their priorities are different.” Kylie reportedly wishes Scott was “more dedicated to the family,” the source added.
According to Complex, Travis Scott also found the transition from rap star to parent a a difficult one to make. “It was hard for him to be coming home every night to be with the family and putting Stormi to bed,” sources said.
“That’s not where he is in his life. It made Kylie insecure and anxious.” Apparently, Kylie felt them “drifting,” and often didn’t know “what was going on.” The source also said that Kylie wants more kids, but it’s something Scott isn’t ready for at the moment. But nevertheless, the young billionaire said the two are still on great terms.
“Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi! Our friendship and our daughter is priority,” she said.
