Kylie Jenner is opening up about having her lips enhanced, which has been the talk of gossip for years.
During the first half of the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reunion, the 23-year-old reality star and cosmetic guru revealed that her love for makeup began with her insecurity surrounding her lips after a boy mentioned how little they were.
“I had really small lips, and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my God, you’re such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,’ or something like that,” she explained. “From then on, I felt unkissable.” From there, her infatuation with makeup grew, driving her to overline her lips in order to feel confident.
Kylie has been vocal in the past regarding her decision to get lip fillers. Back on a May 2015 episode of “KUWTK,” she stated that she wasn’t comfortable speaking with the media about her lips at the time because “everyone always picks us apart.” Then, in a 2017 episode of her E! spinoff, “Life of Kylie,” she revealed that she did not “feel desirable or pretty” with her smaller lips. Today, Kylie says that she has moved past her insecurity.
“I obviously don’t think about it now,” she said to reunion host Andy Cohen.
