Kylie Jenner has just been named the World’s Youngest Self made Billionaire by Forbes Magazine for the second year in a row.
According to PEOPLE, the cosmetic mogul ranked number 1 again despite the flack she received from critics over whether or not she can be considered “self-made.”
Forbes magazine explained that “despite a lot of help from her famous family, she didn’t inherit her business — she built it.”
The baby of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is only one of ten billionaires in the world under the age of 30. The outlet explained that seven of ten are heirs, and the remaining three are considered self-made because they created their own fortunes, despite their families’ money. Those lucky 3 are Stripe co-founder John Collison, 29, Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, 29, and Jenner, 22.
While Jenner did sell a majority stake in Kylie Cosmetics, 51% to Beauty conglomerate Coty, last November, she and her team will continue to lead all creative efforts of product development and communication initiatives.
According to Forbes, the company is valued at $1.2 billion.
