Kylie Jenner just clapped back at a TikTok influencer after many fans accused the reality tv star of posting images of her son to distract from the Balenciaga controversy.
The Kardashians and Jenners are famously known for working with the luxury brand, and after Kim Kardashian posted a lackluster explanation of Balenciaga’s actions, fans haven’t been feeling them lately.
Jenner posted photos of her 9-month-old son, who she shares with Travis Scott, though fans still don’t have a name.
A TikToker user alleges that Kris Jenner told Jenner to post the pictures to distract from the controversy. Jenner then responded, “Uh whyyyyyy would i post my child to cover up for balenciaga ?” She added, “This is why i don’t do this. always something to say.”
Jenner never responds to videos, this being the first time she defended herself on social media.
The photo comes after Balenciaga faced major backlash for its “Gift Collection” campaign featuring children with teddy bears in bondage gear and documents from the Supreme Court case on child pornography. Balenciaga apologized for the documents in the campaign and has since sued North Six, the production company for the campaign.
Kim Kardashian posted a response to the Balenciaga scandal on Twitter.
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns,” she started in the statement. “But because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.
