Los Angeles Clipper JJ Redick has been exposed for an odd legal document he had drawn up in 2007 when his then girlfriend, model Vanessa Lopez, was pregnant. The legal document is essentially a contract determining the terms of Vanessa’s abortion. Yeah, I know, I’m looking at this in disgust too.
For the most part the contract says that Lopez must get an abortion and provide proof to Redick of the abortion and in exchange Redick will remain in the relationship for at least another year. Girl, what? Just a boyfriend? BOYFRIENDS ARE FREE AND WON’T CAUSE YOUR UTERUS ANY DAMAGE! This just gets worse and worse!
As you continue to read the contract it says that if Redick breaks up with Lopez before the year is up, he has to pay her $25,000. Quite frankly, Lopez should have gotten that $25k to sign the agreement period, and another if they broke up. She would have stood to make way more keeping the baby anyway.
On the other hand if Lopez gets the abortion, breaks up with Redick and provides written notice, Redick is relieved of everything. Something tells me Redick would have been doing the MOST to get Lopez to break up with him.

Fun Fact worth noting, Vanessa Lopez is the same young lady who was in a legal dispute with Shaquille O’neal as well. She claims the former NBA star threatened and harassed her after she ended their affair. She also tried to get in contact with Shaunie to warn her about the affair. I wonder if she is the one who leaked the documents to the media. Either way she was an idiot to sign them.
