Lady Gaga updates her fans on her life and explains why she has maintained a low profile in recent months.
On Friday, the 37-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a letter with her followers, addressing her extended absence.
“In the past months, I have been deeply immersed in my creativity in a unique and personal way,” the Grammy-award winner expressed. “I have been involved in writing and producing music for a special project. I dedicated months to developing my character for the film ‘Joker,’ and I spent an extensive amount of time filming for it, which was a deeply introspective period. Additionally, I have been actively running my startup, Haus Labs, engaging in philanthropic endeavors, and working on the film edit for the Chromatica Ball.”
Lady Gaga’s letter provides insight into the various projects and commitments she has been passionately involved in, contributing to her absence from the public eye.
Additionally, Gaga expressed that her hiatus from the limelight has provided her with the opportunity to heal and recharge.
“I want you to know that this time for myself has been incredibly therapeutic and rejuvenating for my heart, mind, body, and creativity. It has allowed me to explore and create within myself and to have a personal life that is just for me,” she continued. “I understand that this may seem different since I haven’t always been so private (I’m sure that will make some of you laugh) — but I genuinely love my fans, my little monsters, so much, and that will never change.”
Nevertheless, Gaga reveals that she is still actively working during her period of solitude. She discloses her involvement in the production of a Chromatica Ball film and shares her excitement about working on new music for a special project.
“I can’t contain my excitement for you to experience it. Thank you for being willing to grow with me so that I can evolve and transform alongside the community I deeply adore,” she shared. “I hope you love all the things I have been creating for you, and I hope this serves as a gentle reminder of my profound passion and dedication to art.”
