La La has officially filed for divorce from NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, the radio personality/VJ-turned-actress filed Thursday in New York citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had been married for 11 years, together for 16, however, sources say they’ve been separated for a while and the divorce is amicable.
It’s been reported that the pair wants to ensure a private and smooth transition in their relationship for their son, Kiyan, who is their main priority.
As previously reported, the couple split in 2017 after seven years of marriage. Rumors swirl that Melo cheated, however, the couple seemed to be working things out and reconciled in 2018, but later split again.
