Every five minutes there is a new discovery in the Lamar Odom Crack-Saga and instead of making a new blog post for each individual thing, I figured I would just bring you guys up to speed with one swift post.
TMZ is reporting that Khloe has found Lamar after she kicked him out of their home for refusing to go to rehab for his crack addiction. Sources say she drove to see him at an undisclosed location. I wonder who these sources could be. Although Khloe has separated from Lamar and refuses to get back with him until he is clean, she hasn’t completely given up on the marriage and has taken no steps toward divorce.
But then…
Radar Online is reporting that Lamar, who has been living out of hotels for months (Wait, I thought she just kicked him out on Wednesday) has slapped Khloe with an ultimatum. Either she lets him back in the house or he’s filing for divorce, something he knows Khloe doesn’t want to do. Sources say “Lamar is tired of living in hotels and is now threatening to file for divorce because he is tired of the situation. Khloe has given him no indication as to whether or not she wants to work on the relationship and save the marriage.”
The website is also reporting that the couple has been in marriage counseling since June when Lamar Odom abruptly just stopped going. That’s reportedly around the same time he began an affair with Polina Polonsky. The California lawyer reportedly passed a lie detector test about her cheating claims – but she wasn’t the first one to accuse Lamar of cheating – she followed suit after Jennifer Richardson came forward and said she met the NBA star in January 2012 and began a sexual affair.
The source adds something most fans have noticed, “Lamar has lost a ton of weight in the last few months which triggered a lot of the concern amongst the family,” which quite possibly could be triggered by the drug abuse. “Lamar does not want to go to rehab because pre-season training camps are just around the corner,” the source adds. The Clippers have offered Lamar Odom a contract for next season as a veteran, paying the minimum $1.4 million.
A couple Lamar’s NBA colleagues have spoken up about how they feel about Lamar’s shocking drug revelation. Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant was asked about Lamar where he said that the he, as well as the entire league, have Odom’s back. “No doubt, it’s a brotherhood,” Durant said.
Washington Wizards player John Wall took a more “minding my own damn business” approach when asked about Lamar’s situation. “I just hope he can figure it out, that’s it,” Wall told TMZ.
