This past Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens faced a crucial challenge. They were determined to secure their first win of the season against the Dallas Cowboys to avoid falling to 0-3. With the Buffalo Bills coming to Baltimore next week, it was vital for the Ravens to start strong and finish well against the Cowboys.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 12 of 15 passes and ran for 84 yards, showing a sense of urgency as the Ravens got off to a hot start.
The team won 27-24 on the road, and defensive player Marlon Humphrey took to Instagram Live to celebrate their 1-2 record. However, team leader Lamar Jackson was not pleased with the celebration, telling the cornerback he should be more focused. Jackson’s reaction reflected the seriousness of the long season ahead.
“We got the dub; we keep stacking them up, but we shouldn’t even be on Live right now,” Jackson said to the camera. He then playfully called out Humphrey for dropping a potential interception, saying, “You dropped that pick too.” Humphrey replied, “It would have been a flag anyway,” but Jackson was unimpressed. “I don’t care. Remember when they posted, ‘Marlon picks off Lamar 4 times in practice,’ and now in the game, you’re dropping them b***.”
