Lamar Odom is coming clean in his new book “Darkness to Light” and confessing to the great extremes he went through to hide his drug addiction, both on and off the court.
Odom shares a story about what he did to qualify for the 2004 USA basketball team. Lamar, who was smoking weed on a daily basis at the time, searches Google for ways “to beat a drug test.”
According to People, Lamar claims that
“After an exhaustive search we ordered a giant, rubber, black c*** to arrive the next day,” Odom writes in an expert first provided to People magazine. “I unzipped my pants and carefully slid the fake penis through the zipper hole. To get the pee to come out of the tip, I had to squeeze the shaft repeatedly.”
Odom admits that he was “paranoid” that his fake penis would be exposed, but the official tester who took the sample at the NBA star’s home never noticed, and Lamar passed his required drug test with flying colors.
Lamar and the USA team did go on to Greece for the Olympics that year and brought home the bronze medal.
