If it isn’t one thing it’s another, isn’t it Lamar?
Lamar Odom has been having a very stressful week to say the least. From the outing of his drug problems, being booted from the Los Angeles Clippers to getting popped for a DUI, it seems like the NBA star can’t catch a break these days. It looks as if things may have gotten a little worse for Lam because it is being reported by the Los Angeles Times that his recent DUI arrest may have lost him his driver’s license for a year.
On Friday Lamar was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and because he refused to submit to chemical testing at the police station, according to the law his driving privileges can be suspended. Drivers suspected of DUI may refuse to take tests in the field, but once they are at a police station, they are required to take a chemical test. If they refuse, they lose their driving privileges for a year. Poor Lamar has just had to find this out the hard way.
Note to all drivers in California, by obtaining a California license you automatically consent to have your breath, blood or urine tested if they you arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and you don’t have the “right” to consult a lawyer before hand.
