Lamar Odom Hopes To Reconnect With Khloe Kardashian Someday

Love is most definitely in the air this time of year. Kanye West has been fighting to put his family with Kim Kardashian back together. Nick Cannon released a song on Valentine’s Day that is an ode to his ex-wife Mariah Carey. And now Lamar Odom is opening up about wanting to get back together with his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian. 

During Monday’s Celebrity Big Brother, the former Los Angeles Lakers star opened up about his regrets over his failed marriage with Kardashian. 

“I didn’t treat that good woman right,” the 42-year-old said. “I’m going to try my damndest [to reconnect with her].”

He admitted he was a “fool” for how he treated Kardashian, 37, during their relationship. Odom hopes that he can take her out to dinner and apologize one day. 

“I would just probably want to take her to dinner. It will be a blessing just to be in her presence. Just to tell her I’m sorry and what a fool I was,” Odom said during a confessional. “She has the right to never ever want to see me again for the things I put her through, but time moves on, and people change.”

The two were married from 2009 until their divorce was finalized in 2016. The marriage was plagued with cheating scandals and Odom’s substance abuse. Despite their marital woes, the Good American founder was supportive of her ex after he overdosed in a Nevada brothel. 

In another confessional that aired on Monday, Odom admitted he made many mistakes in the relationship. He acknowledged his mind wasn’t in the right place at the time. 

“When I married Khloé, there were so many things that I did wrong when it came to that relationship,” he said. “If I could take it back, of course, I would take it back. It was never my intention to hurt her.” 

“But my mind and my head wasn’t in the right place,” he added. “I wasn’t taking care of myself.”
