As everyone knows, today is the first anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s tragic passing, and today on the Morning Hustle Show, Lamar Odom wanted to talk about the memories and life lessons he learned from Kobe during his NBA days.
In the interview, Lamar said, “there were many incredible performances, life lessons, and the installment of the Mamba mentality.” Odom said he misses everything about him, and it’s hard for him to think about it.
Lamar mentions that when he found out about Kobe’s passing, he was in Atlanta, and he couldn’t deal with it. He said he was with a friend who had started throwing up, and it was a hard time.
One of the Morning Hustle Show hosts, Headkrack, said that he doesn’t think anyone in the world has recovered from Kobe’s passing.
Odom says that ever since Kobe’s passing, he knows for sure that drugs are behind him. He said, “it could’ve been a reason for me to get high, but it didn’t even cross my mind.”
Headkrack said he is glad that Lamar came out of this situation fortified, and he’s happy to see that Lamar didn’t let Kobe’s passing send him over the edge.
Kobe’s greatness and impact are felt worldwide.
