Larry Johnson Pleads No Contest To Domestic Violence

Before you ask, this has nothing to do with Chilli. 

Former NFL running back Larry Johnson avoids jail by pleading “No Contest” to a misdemeanor  domestic battery and assault case stemming from 2012. 

Last year while at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas,  Johnson’s ex-girlfriend accused him of strangling her so hard that she lost consciousness. According to the police report, when hotel security responded to the scene, Johnson was still fuming and told the guard, “I’ll rip your f**king vocal cords out!” The former NFL star says he never touched the woman.

Larry Johnson struck a deal with Vegas courts that if he plead no contest he would avoid all jail time. Instead the former Kansas City Chief will receive 1 year probation, 48 hours of community service, six months of counseling classes and must pay a $345 fine.
 

The case against him must have been pretty thin for prosecution to offer up that deal.
