According to TMZ, Larry King’s seventh wife, Shawn King, says that she is not going to fight her now-estranged husband’s divorce wish because she’s allegedly been told by doctors that he’s dying.
85-year-old Larry King filed a petition to end the marriage Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, two weeks before their 22nd wedding anniversary.
”He’s really ill,” Los Angeles radio host Lisa Stanley, a close friend of Shawn’s, said on air the day after Larry filed for divorce.
The legendary television host has suffered from heart problems for years and underwent surgery in April of this year.
According to court documents filed on Tuesday, he cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for separation.
Larry King and Shawn King married back in 1997 and have two sons, Cannon, who’s 19 and Chance, who’s 20.
