Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are taking their relationship to the next level, forming new traditions for their first official holiday season as a couple.
The Real Housewives of Miami star shared her plans with PEOPLE, revealing the two arranged to spend the Christmas holiday in Los Angeles before taking their talents to South Beach for the New Year. As for her children, Pippen said her four kids will split their time between her and her ex, Scottie Pippen.
Pippen also shared a few new holiday traditions she intends to create with Jordan, highlighting different activities they plan to do together.
“Marcus is gonna start baking dessert,” Pippen told PEOPLE. “I normally cook, and I feel like he likes dessert,” she continued, reiterating that he needs to “start baking.”
“I can cook, but I choose to let the cooks do the cooking,” he joked. “I definitely do the cleanup. I eat clean.”
The budding couple met in 2019 and built their relationship on a “great foundation as friends.” In September 2022, the two were spotted out on the town in Miami, and by November, they spent the Thanksgiving holiday together. Three months later, much to the public’s dismay, the couple made it official.
Now, the two are going strong and are in “a really fun place” in their lives.
“He’s always ready to do anything,” Pippen said of Jordan. “He has the best personality as far as he’s always ready to go and do fun stuff, which I love.”
“I think my favorite thing about Larsa is just how caring she is,” Jordan said. “She would literally give the last shirt off her back for somebody. And I think that’s genuine,” he continued, adding that he believes the two are “cut from similar cloth.”
A Jordan and Pippen Christmas meant something entirely different 31 years ago, but it’s nice to see Larsa and Marcus rewriting their own story.
