Larsa Pippen is finally admitting what many were already thinking about her short-lived relationship with NBA player Malik Beasley was a bad decision.
In a recent interview on The Jason Lee Show, Larsa opened up about the headline-grabbing romance, “That was a mistake. That was a mistake,” she repeated. “But I had COVID, you know? I had COVID brain.”
The former Real Housewives of Miami star explained that she had just recovered from COVID-19 and was isolated at home when she met Beasley.

“I just had COVID. I was stuck in my house, I hadn’t gone anywhere, and he was there,” she said. “He was, like, on me—‘Lemme see you! Lemme come see you.’ And I thought, ‘OK, come see me!’”
Larsa and Malik were first spotted holding hands at a mall in Miami back in November 2020.
The photos went viral and reportedly blindsided Beasley’s then-wife, Montana Yao. The viral moment led Yao to file for divorce shortly afterward.
While the timing made it look messy, Larsa claimed she and Malik weren’t actually in a relationship before his marriage was over. “I had just met him. Did you know that? I had just met him that day,” she told Lee.
Despite standing by her claim that Beasley and Yao were already separated, Larsa now admits the situation never should’ve happened.
