Larsa Pippen shares that she would change her last name if she marries Marcus Jordan.
During part two of The Real Housewives of Miami reunion, the reality star revealed if she would hyphenate her name in the event that she tied the knot with Marcus.
“I would definitely change my last name for whomever I married, that’s for sure,” Pippen said.
When asked if she had spent time with Michael Jordan, the NBA icon and father of Marcus, who had played with her ex-husband Scottie Pippen on the Chicago Bulls during the ’80s and ’90s, Larsa was hesitant in her response.
“I mean, I don’t really want to talk about — I want to talk about Marcus and I,” she added. “I feel like I’m comfortable talking about Marcus and I.”
Host Andy Cohen later questioned Larsa about her “unusual” relationship between her and Marcus, which she explained she didn’t know the latter while his father and her ex-husband were teammates.
“I feel like a lot of people don’t understand, like, I didn’t know him,” Larsa explained. “I just met him a few years ago. I never met him before. I was with Scottie the very last year that he played with Michael. Michael and his wife were going through a divorce, so I never met his wife, never met his kids. It wasn’t like we had families that were intertwined. I never knew them.”
In 2022, rumors began circulating about Marcus and Larsa after they were spotted together in Miami. A month later, Larsa insisted that the two were “just friends” despite the rumors. Nevertheless, Marcus and Larsa became Instagram-official earlier this year when Larsa posted a photo of them looking cozy in front of a floral design of Michael’s iconic No. 23 Bulls jersey.
