Larsa Pippen is officially closing the chapter on Marcus Jordan, and she’s not sugarcoating how it went down.
In the season seven premiere of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” the reality star opened up about why she finally walked away from her on-again, off-again relationship with Michael Jordan’s son.
“You know what’s really crazy? When I was dating Marcus, my kids were like, ‘Stop getting back together and breaking up and just get off the ride,’” Pippen told her mom during the June 11th episode. “That’s when I was like, ‘I need to get away from the situation. My kids think that it’s not good for me.”
Larsa, 50, and Marcus, 34, first went public in January 2023. What followed was over a year of makeups and breakups before they finally ended it for good in July 2024.
“We started out great, but then I started seeing parts of him that didn’t match who I am,” she said. One of her biggest frustrations was his party habits. “He always wanted to shut down the club, like literally stay until the janitors were the only ones left.”
When news of the split hit blogs, so did the calls. “Everyone was calling me, and it was just too much,” she said through tears. “I didn’t even want to talk about it. It was embarrassing.”
Larsa shares four children with her ex-husband Scottie Pippen, and she admitted that the rollercoaster affected more than just her.
“I fought hard to be with this guy. But it turned into something that wasn’t good for me or my family,” she said. “Once I chose to walk away, that’s when things got ugly. He started sending me nasty messages, talking to my friends, and saying really hurtful stuff. It just got dark.”
Their breakup timeline was messy—a split in February 2024, a quick reunion, another fallout in March, and a final goodbye in July.
Larsa says this time, there’s no turning back. “He’s still out here running his mouth about me like I wasn’t good to him,” she said. “It’s wild because all I ever did was show up for him and his issues.”
Now focused on peace, Larsa is standing firm in her decision. No more drama, no more Marcus, and definitely no more rides.
