“Okay, so I feel like that photo went viral,” Larsa Pippen said in an Instagram Story while addressing a side-by-side image of her face that lit up social media. “I’m wondering if someone made it look like that because this is what my face looks like, you guys. I’m on TV, so you know what I look like. I just shot my reunion a couple of days ago, so you’ll see what I look like at my reunion. I did have PRP. I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you can have, so my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that. So keep on hating, guys.”

The “Real Housewives of Miami” star’s comments came after a cosmetic physician’s Instagram account critiqued her appearance, suggesting she had gone from “naturally beautiful” to “noticeably overfilled.” The post used her as an example of why choosing the right injector is important, even for those with money to spend.
Larsa quickly responded in the comments, claiming her appearance was due to a temporary PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment reaction, not permanent fillers or surgery. But the doctor behind the post wasn’t convinced, pointing out that allergic reactions to PRP are “extremely rare” since it uses a patient’s own blood cells, and noting that such reactions don’t usually linger “three seasons on a streaming network.” They stressed their post was intended to caution people about overfilling, not personally target her.
