Latto is addressing fans who teased her for seemingly not realizing that Wagyu is a type of beef.
On Thursday, a clip surfaced of her explaining that she hadn’t eaten any beef for four years until recently, emphasizing her preference for top-quality $1,000 Wagyu steak over “hamburger sh*.”
Now, she responding to criticism by explaining to fans that it was meant as a joke.
“Y’all really don’t get my sense of humor I hate that for me,” she wrote.
Many fans remained unconvinced that it was all just a joke, suggesting that she could have simply admitted her mistake instead.
