Latto’s Left Eye Performance Was Not Well Received By Everyone

Latto surprised fans during Monday night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards when she performed with the legendary girl group, TLC. Despite Latto being one of the best performers out, not everyone was thrilled about her taking the stage.

The Georgia star rapped Left Eye’s iconic verse from “Waterfalls” alongside Chilli and T-Boz. While Latto’s reciting Left Eye’s lyrics was the ultimate form of homage, fans online questioned why the “Sunday Service” rapper was called for the gig. If you recall, Lil Mama portrayed the role of Left Eye in the 2013 “CrazySexyCool” biopic. Some believe she should have been the obvious choice, given how well she tackled the movie.
