Actress Lauren London has opened up about elevating beyond acting and her ongoing healing process after her devastating loss.
On Friday, London debuted her Forever Stronger collection with Puma after forming a relationship with the company in 2019 following the death of Nipsey Hussle. While Nip already had a connection with the company at the time of his passing, London got close to the company afterward to create items that would honor the iconic rapper, who was her longtime partner.
The new line is a part of London “evolving, expanding, and unfolding as a human,” and continued healing. The actress says the new Puma line allows her to create something outside of acting and be more “intentional with the work” that she is releasing.
The 36-year-old also touched on her healing journey and her desire to help others who are grieving.
“I would like to extend whatever tools I’ve picked up on my healing journey and that I am picking up still because it’s a journey. I would like to extend that and offer that to my community in any way that I can, whether that’s producing a project that gives this type of information or I would.”
The “Without Remorse” star says that her advice for anyone looking to navigate through painful experiences is to “go within”‘ and “take it one day at a time.” She also credits writing and finding things to be grateful for as a part of her healing process.
“Be still. Breathe. Write. I’m always telling people about freewriting because it’s helped me. I just write whatever I feel. It doesn’t matter. And then I found like, three things I was grateful for every day. Whether it be as simple as clean socks, I would find three things to be grateful for because then you open yourself to gratitude and being grateful for something, and that opens your world and gives you more things to be grateful for.”
Lauren London’s Forever Stronger collection is available now on Puma.com.
