“Matrix” actor Laurence Fishburne is single and ready to mingle several years after his divorce.
Fishburne and his second wife of 16 years, actress Gina Torres married in 2002 but divorced in May 2018. He married his first wife, Hajna O. Moss, in 1985 but the two divorced sometime in the 1990s. Despite two failed attempts at love, the 60-year-old says he is ready to put himself back out there.
“Eventually, I would like to date, but there is nobody in particular on my radar,” he revealed to Page Six at the Tribeca Festival on June 13th.
Love may be in his future, but for now, the legendary actor known for other monumental roles such as Ike Turner in “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Boyz N The Hood” is focused on his craft. He premiered his new documentary “The Cave of Adullam” during the Tribeca Festival. In addition, he recently signed on to star in the film “Frank & Louis” alongside Clifton Collins Jr. The highly anticipated movie centers around a life sentence prison inmate working as a caregiver for elderly prisoners experiencing memory loss, a role sure to be a standout during award season.
Unfortunately for the single ladies of the world, it doesn’t appear that Laurence Fishburne has social media at this time, so shooting those shots may prove harder than usual in today’s dating world.
