The highly anticipated U.S. tour by Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees, set to kick off in late summer and run through fall, has been abruptly canceled. Ticketmaster has removed the dates, and ticketholders received refund notices late Tuesday.
No explanation was provided for the cancellation in the notices. Representatives for Ms. Lauryn Hill and tour promoter Live Nation have not yet responded to requests for comment.
The tour was scheduled to begin on Friday in Tampa and culminate at the Hollywood Bowl on September 17, with additional shows in New York and New Jersey on September 20-21. The now-canceled tour included 18 U.S. dates in cities such as Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, and Milwaukee.
Fans are left disappointed and awaiting further details regarding the sudden cancellation of what was set to be a nostalgic and thrilling tour.
