Lavar Ball has announced how much he will be paying his Junior Basketball Association League players per game. Ball announced the league last year and drafted players this year. All of the players are teenagers and the league will commence during the summer. There are teams for Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, and Seattle.

Though you may not get rich in your first year of playing in the JBA, Ball has decided to pay each player $3,000 per month in a salary. They will also receive 60 percent of their jersey profits which sell at $80 apiece. The Big Baller Brand Media tweeted “If a player sells 1,000 jerseys, that’s an easy extra $48,000 in their pocket. Not to mention, the other opportunities for endorsements.”

Though this may not seem like much compared to what NBA league players make, this is a lot more than what is legally promised to those players of the NCAA. They offer some students stipends, but that is nowhere near like a salary. Also, each school differs on the amount that they give their players. Some have to figure out the rest on their own, some colleges are giving out $2,600 per year.
