A few months ago, Sean Kingston claimed that he was kidnapped by Avianne & Co Jewelers over money owed on a watch. Unfortunately, law enforcement isn’t buying his story.
Apparently Kingston purchased a $225,000 watch from the company and made a deposit of $185,000, but neglected to pay the rest because he didn’t believe the watch to be worth any more. After arguing over the money, Kingston says the jeweler set up a meeting in a downtown L.A. parking lot in the middle of the night. Kingston says that this is when goons took his car, locked him in a car then drove him to an isolated area and dumped him. He filed a police report in November. Minutes after we posted the story on Instagram, former jewelers, acquaintances and even Juelz Santana all claimed to be owed money as well.
Authorities don’t think Sean Kingston is telling the entire truth about his kidnapping either. The fact that Sean Kingston would meet up with the jewelers, in a remote area, at 1am seemed a little fishy to them so they’re just chalking it up as a civil dispute.
